In January 2010, the Conseil d’\u00c9tat<\/strong> committed to providing a location for the Centre Objectif Terre<\/strong>. In 2013, the authorities of the Republic and Canton of Geneva proposed a site in the Praille-Acacias-Vernets<\/strong> district, at the heart of a future development area.<\/p>\nThis site will be located in a vibrant, innovative part of the city, near the CEVA<\/strong> train line, and will be part of a completely renovated district. Known as Geneva’s future “Manhattan,” the area will adhere to the highest sustainability standards.<\/p>\nThe community has been invited to contribute to the development of the concept. The restoration of the nearby river has already been planned, along with numerous corridors and green spaces.<\/p>\n
In 2015, the Earth Focus Foundation<\/strong>‘s request for information received a positive response, marking an important milestone for the project.
