The rise of urban agriculture in Geneva reflects a growing desire among both city dwellers and rural residents to reconnect with the natural world and embrace universal environmental values. Participatory gardening projects, supported financially by public authorities and donors, are an integral part of these socio-environmental initiatives.<\/p>\n
However, managing urban agriculture spaces requires more than just horticultural knowledge. It demands expertise in areas such as management, communication, governance, and project coordination. Given that these initiatives often rely on the ongoing engagement of a large community, many struggle to maintain momentum over time.<\/p>\n
To address this challenge, the Earth Focus Foundation introduces Ferme en Ville<\/strong>, a program led by four professionals passionate about urban agriculture and environmental awareness.
