Today, at the beginning of the 21st century, our society is more than ever confronted with exceptional challenges, be they environmental, economic, social and cultural. Peace, freedom, the rights of the living but also our cultural heritage have never been so jeopardized.
It is urgent to position a symbolic « Icon for the Planet » in the heart of Geneva, Centre Objectif Terre, showing a new vision of the ideal of humanity resting on the three pillars ; Culture, Sustainable Development and Universal Rights. It is with this “vision from the heart” that the humanist Roerich said: «where there is culture there is Peace».
Tolerance, Teamwork, Empowerment, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity
This is the definition of Unesco which will be the thread:
Culture is considered as “the whole complex of distinctive spiritual, material, intellectual and emotional features that characterise a society or social group. It includes not only the arts and literature, lifestyles, fundamental rights of the human being, value systems, traditions and beliefs.”
This is what led us to design an International Cultural Centre dedicated to future generations, turned to the new paradigms that will create a sustainable society that respects life. Give a new vision for humanity.
An International Cultural Centre which will implement the values that we hold dear: Tolerance, Teamwork, Empowerment, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity. Above all, our goal is the duty of action and implementation.
Its mission is to provide solutions to problems that now concern the entire population, to take our future in hand by focusing on the values of the heart, to create a society based on humanistic values in the service of Life that respect people’xs rights as much as their duties and responsibilities.
